We focus on encouraging a life-long love for self-expression and dance, building classroom confidence and developing coordination + musicality in our classes for our youngest dancers!

Classes do not run during school holidays.

$8 pay as you go
Eftpos or cash available at Reception after class

ABOUT:

This is a casual class, but bookings are ESSENTIAL. You can attend week to week when it suits your schedule.
In this class we follow a class structure built around confidence-building, creativity, play, individuality and musicality.
We explore skills like coordination, creativity, movement-awareness, listening to a teacher, taking turns, following the leader etc.
Parents/guardians are required to stay, and are invited to join in (but guardian participation isn't compulsory).

HIGHLIGHTS:

This is usually a students FIRST ever dance class, and often their first experience in a classroom environment! We love seeing their confidence grow throughout the sessions, and encouraging their love for dance!

MY 2-4YO IS QUITE SHY, I'M NOT SURE HOW THEY'LL GO?

We understand that young dancers may take a little while to 'warm up' to a new environment and new faces. There is no expectation for dancers to participate immediately, and we encourage families to recognise the value in observing, exploring and learning. There is always something to learn and gain from every experience!

WHAT SHOULD MY DANCER WEAR + BRING?

Whatever they feel comfortable + confident in! Usually t-shirt, tights, pants and shorts are best but dancers can wear tutus, dresses, etc as well.

Please wear shoes that are comfortable for your dancer to wear and walk around in for the duration of the class. Dancers cannot wear only socks, as the flooring can become slippery. Shoes can be removed during the class if they become a sensory distraction/irritation for your dancer.

Feel free to bring a water bottle, but food is not permitted in the Studio please.

WHAT PARKING IS AVAILABLE? WHAT'S ACCESSIBILITY LIKE?

Our Studio is located at 4/32 Middle Street, Cleveland - next to the Little Istanbul Turkish Restaurant. There is street parking available on Middle Street, but it can be a little busy. There is also parking at the back of Middle Street, on Kyling Lane. Please always check the parking signs in the area!

The Studio is located on the ground floor, and there are bathrooms located upstairs in the shared building - an elevator is available if needed.

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL?

For our fun and flexible 2-4yo casual class, we don't offer a free trial. Since the class is casual with no Term commitment, you can jump right in and pay per week - it's an exciting way to try something new. Thanks for understanding!

IS THERE SPACE FOR MY PRAM?

We have space within our Reception, Waiting Room + Studio for a few prams! Sometimes the space can get a little crowded, and there are a few corridor corners, but you're always welcome to bring your pram.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?

We kindly ask that you do your best to focus only on your own dancer in any footage. Before and after class are great times to snap a photo or video without disrupting the flow of the session.

While we encourage living in the moment, we also know how meaningful it can be to capture these joyful milestones. Please be mindful of minimising distractions (phones!) during class, and respectful of others' privacy - videos including other dancers' faces should not be shared online.

CAN I COME INTO THE CLASS?

Yes! Guardians are encouraged to participate in this class with their dancer (but it's not compulsory). This is not a "drop + go" class, a guardian is required to stay.

We do ask that guardians are respectful of the learning environment and do not talk loudly/too much to each other while in the Studio during the class. You're welcome to watch from the viewing window if you would like to chat with company. Thank you!
