2-4yo DANCE+play FOR OUR YOUNGEST GROOVERS!

We focus on encouraging a life-long love for self-expression and dance, building classroom confidence and developing coordination + musicality in our classes for our youngest dancers!

We offer two separate classes for the 2-6yo age groups:

We understand that young dancers may take a little while to 'warm up' to a new environment and new faces. There is no expectation for dancers to participate immediately, and we encourage families to recognise the value in observing, exploring and learning. There is always something to learn and gain from every experience!

2-5YO DANCE + PLAY WEEKLY CASUAL CLASS

This class is an introduction to the dance studio environment and to the structure of classes! It's an encouraging way to build classroom confidence, while being super flexible for changing schedules.

WHEN:

Wednesdays 10-10:30am

COST:

$8 pay as you go (eftpos or cash available at Reception)

ABOUT:

This is a casual class. Each week we text our Contact List to see who would like to book in for the class. You can ask to be removed from the Contact List at any time!
In this class we usually follow a class structure built around confidence-building, creativity, play, individuality and musicality. We also explore skills like listening to a teacher, taking turns, following the leader etc.
Parents/guardians are required to stay, and are invited to join in (but guardian participation isn't compulsory).

HIGHLIGHTS:

This is usually a students FIRST ever dance class, and often their first experience in a classroom environment! We love seeing their confidence grow throughout the sessions, and encouraging their love for dance!

FAQs

WHAT SHOULD MY DANCER WEAR?

Whatever they feel comfortable + confident in! Usually tights, pants and shorts are best but dancers can wear tutus and anything else they like!

Enclosed shoes are required for dancing, especially for the 4-6yo classes.

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL?

There is no Trial Class available for the 2-4yo casual class. Because this is a casual class and there is no commitment for the term, we don't offer a Trial (like we do for our other classes). The casual class fee covers your spot in that class for that week. Thanks for understanding!

IS THERE SPACE FOR MY PRAM?

We have space within our Reception, Waiting Room + Studio for a few prams! Sometimes the space can get a little crowded, with a few corridor corners, but you're always welcome to bring your pram.

CAN I COME INTO THE CLASS?

Yes! Guardians are encouraged to participate in this class with their dancer (but it's not compulsory). This is not a "drop + go" class, a guardian is required to stay.
