DANCE CLASSES FOR OUR YOUNGEST GROOVERS!
We focus on encouraging a life-long love for self-expression and dance, building classroom confidence and developing coordination + musicality in our classes for our youngest dancers!
Before we throw you a bunch of details about our dance classes for 2-6yo students, we have a few questions that can help you decide which class is right for you!
Would like to join to a 9-week block of afternoon classes for the term, or would a casual morning class suit your schedule better?
Would you like to see your student revising dance choreography each week and practicing a whole routine, or would they prefer to let loose and enjoy their own exploration of dance + music?

Please note: We understand that young dancers may take a little while to 'warm up' to a new environment and new faces. There is no expectation for dancers to participate immediately, and we encourage families to recognise the value in observing, exploring and learning. There is always something to learn and gain from every experience!
4-6yo Fun Dancing (9-week block of classes)
In this class we learn a routine to a whole song, so each week we revise last week's dance and add on new choreography! This class is ideal for students who are ready to soak up the new dance skills and build their confidence!
When:

9 week block of classes, runs within the school terms

Wednesdays 3:45-4:30pm OR

Fridays 3:45-4:30pm

The day of the week that you enrol into is YOUR class :-) Each class has different choreography/teachers, so you cannot attend the alternative class as a 'catch up' if you are away.
Cost:

$165 for the 9 week block (we offer a trial class in week 1, so you can give the class a go before the full fee is due! There is a $10 deposit required to book the trial class.)

A one-off $65 Membership Fee due if you decide to continue after your trial (includes a dance shirt, and your $10 deposit comes off this fee - so the balance is $55, due only if you continue).
About:

We learn Jazz + Hip Hop moves, as well as musicality, coordination and expression.

There is the option to perform this dance on stage at our end of term show, but that's totally optional!

Parents/guardians can watch the class through the Viewing Window in the Waiting Room, but cannot come into the classroom once class begins. Students are required to stay in the classroom for the duration of the class (unless really needing the toilet, are distressed, etc)

The families in this class really love the social side aspect because each week their student gets to connect with their teachers + their classmates, we foster positive social interactions!

It's also really rewarding to look back after the 9 weeks and see how your student has learnt a whole dance in a short time!
